Worship is about who we give our lives to. People worship just about everything including sports teams, careers, families and themselves.
God calls us to give our lives to Him by first yielding our lives to Jesus Christ and then daily living out his teachings.
A worship lifestyle is demonstrated by Christ-followers who factor God into all the equations of their lives: family, friends, career, resources, etc.
Friendship is about who we spend our lives with. From the very beginning, God declared that we are not meant to do life alone. However, because of our selfishness, and that of others, we can cause breakdown & distance in our relationships.
Graciously, Jesus has paved the way for our relationships to be what God intended from the beginning.
Authentic friendship is experienced when wrongs are confessed, good is celebrated, needs are met, love is shared, and life is enjoyed.
Mission is about what we live our lives for. God has us on earth, at this point in history, for a reason. God is looking to do a good work in us, as well as a good work through us to others.
Followers of Jesus represent Jesus in our world and are therefore to be in close proximity with people who don’t yet follow Jesus.
We are to show and tell the Good News about Jesus so that others have the opportunity to encounter the grace and goodness of God in Jesus Christ.
